GMA Films and Regal Entertainment issued a statement to the press to address the rumored rift between two of the stars of Temptation Island—Marian Rivera and Heart Evangelista.
In the statement sent to PEP through email earlier tonight, June 23, the two film outfits acknowledge that there was a "recent incident" involving the two Kapuso stars.
This incident, according to the statement, "caused stress to both Marian and Heart, and Heart made this known to her parents."
The production team, it said, "intervened and was able to handle the situation" and the two actresses "tried to put the issue behind them."
GMA Films and Regal assure fans "this minor incident did not in any way affect the shooting of Temptation Island."
They also request the supporters and followers of Marian and Heart "to put a closure to this episode."
